to previous Monthly reports |

Please note that
reports can be now and are best viewed through the ‘Internet Explorer’ and
‘Google Chrome’ browsers. Other Browsers
may or may not support features on pages. |

There
will be changes to the layouts of future and past monthly reports. Essentially
they will remain unchanged with the usual information at the same points upon
the page. |

However,
small changes to make reports more ‘viewer friendly’ will take place. The extreme
weather and wind data sections will be most noticeable. |

The
written monthly report itself will become more reader friendly being broken
down into parts. |

It is
important to note that all reports dating back to 2004 will be
changed/corrected and reviewed for any additional information found in the
archive. |

The
process will take several months and it is advised that the viewer
periodically checks progress. |

To overview
progress it was thought best to show a table of what months had been
reviewed. This is shown in a table below.

Simply click on the relevant year you would like to view

This will take you to a list of available months that
reports have been compiled in that year.
Monthly Reports include
A current observation on a daily basis usually around 0900 GMT. (available from June 2005)
Daily weather readings from several weather parameters with equipment available at the time.
Monthly totals and averages where applicable.
A written dairy of immediate and local weather events that
warranted inclusion throughout the month
Northern hemisphere seasons run as follows:
Winter: December (previous year), January, February.
Spring: March, April, May.
Summer: June, July, August.
Autumn: September, October, November.
